I Was Just Like You.

I had questions. I had doubts. I wasn't taught about praying in tongues when I was growing up. Maybe you weren't either.

But God led me on a journey of discovery that changed everything. What began as curiosity became a deeper awareness of His presence, His voice, and His Spirit working within me.

Now I want to help others experience that same intimacy, clarity, strength, and spiritual awakening through Spirit Prayer.

There was a season in my life where I became deeply hungry for more of God.

Not more religion.
Not more performance.
Not more spiritual noise.

I wanted real communion.

And somewhere along that journey, I began wrestling with a question I could not shake:

If praying in the Spirit is truly a gift from God… why does it matter so much?

Why would Scripture place such importance on it?
Why would believers throughout history speak of it as life-changing?
And why did so many people who practiced it consistently describe greater spiritual strength, clarity, intimacy with God, boldness, discernment, and transformation?

I wasn't satisfied with shallow answers anymore.

So I began searching.

Not just through theology, but through Scripture itself, through personal experience, through testimonies, through prayer, and through the quiet leading of the Holy Spirit.

And slowly, something began unfolding in my heart.

I began realizing that your spirit has a voice.

Just as the body was designed to breathe, and the mind was designed to think, the human spirit was designed for communion with God.

And many believers have never learned how to let that inner voice fully pray.

One of the analogies I share in this book is the story of individuals who were unable to hear for much of their lives, but after receiving the ability to hear, suddenly discovered an entirely new world had always been surrounding them.

The sounds were always there.
The pathway simply had not been opened yet.

That image stayed with me because I began realizing something powerful:

Many believers genuinely love God, yet still live disconnected from depths of spiritual communion that were always available to them.

Not because God withheld it.
Not because He loves some believers more than others.
But because many have never understood the purpose, beauty, and practical power of Spirit-led prayer.
